St. Mike’s Youth is here for just one thing YOU! From our Sunday evening Youth Group to our community activities to our Confirmation program and our annual Mission Trip, everything comes down to YOU ... and helping you become the kind of amazingly awesome person God has in store for you to be.
Whether you’re in 6th grade or about ready to head off to college, there is always something fun going on around here. And while we are all about the serious stuff, we have a pretty good time along the way. Our Youth Calendar is always packed full of exciting activities every month lock-ins & games, concerts & retreats, community service days and trips you name it! The truth is, we think you’re awesome and just really want to hang out with you.
Regardless of who you are and whether you’ve been here before, you are ALWAYS welcome at St. Mike's!
St. Michael surrounds the youth of our community with a fun, respectful environment where they can lay the foundation for a lifetime of faith and know that they belong.
||Being a teenager can be a crazy time!
It can also be a time when teens face tough questions about who they are, what they stand for, and who they are going to become. That’s where we come in.
We’re here to provide teens with a place where they can speak their mind, wrestle with those questions and with our support decide what kind of people they will grow up to be.

In partnership with the Episcopal Church of the Advent, confirmation is a two-year process for 7th and 8th graders, in which young people deepen their faith and make the mature, adult choice to live as Christians. Students work together in large and small groups to learn about the Christian faith, build relationships with one another, and serve the local community. In addition to regular service events, confirmation students will plan a service project and participate in a summer mission trip. Confirmation meets from 6-8 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sunday nights (at St. Michael in the fall; at Church of the Advent in the spring), beginning with games and ending with worship. An optional $5 dinner is provided at 5:45 p.m.
Middle School Youth Group
We offer a weekly Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:15 a.m. for the Middle School age group to discuss a variety of real-life faith issues and themes.
Youth in Grades 6-8 aren't limited to learning about faith through our Confirmation program and Sunday School, but are invited to join in a number of Youth Group events and activities (along with our friends from Church of the Advent), both alongside our High School Youth Group teens and on their own. These activities range from serving together in local mission projects to traveling together for a rousing day of Laser Tag and a summer mission project. The common theme? Fun, rowdy, good times for everyone who joins us!
High School Youth Group
Another partnership with the Episcopal Church of the Advent, High School Youth Group is open to all youth in grades 9-12. Meetings happen on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, with retreats, lock-ins, service projects, and more in between. Over the summer, there are a variety of mission trip offerings. Youth Group meets from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday nights (at St. Michael in the fall, Church of the Advent in the spring). An optional $5 dinner is provided at 5:45 p.m.
For our High School group, we also offer a weekly Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:15 a.m., where teens can share their faith and lives with one another.
